Catherine Opie Captures Gucci’s Fall 2025 Campaign

Big shifts are underway at Gucci as Demna steps into a new chapter—leaving Balenciaga behind and gearing up to reveal his first Gucci collection this September at Milan Fashion Week. After Sabato De Sarno’s not-so-surprising departure in February, Demna was named the new creative lead for the iconic Italian label, originally founded by Guccio Gucci in 1921. In the meantime, Gucci’s in-house design team presented the Fall 2025 collection earlier this year, and the newly released campaign brings that vision to life. Renowned American photographer Catherine Opie was tapped to shoot the visuals, focusing her lens on a minimalist studio setup featuring talents like Alix Bouthors and Cole Mohr. The result? A series of stripped-back, intimate portraits that speak volumes with their quiet simplicity.
