Since taking over as Gucci‘s creative director in January 2023, Sabato De Sarno has stuck with a tight group of photographers for the brand’s campaigns. One name frequently on his list is David Sims, who has shot Gucci’s mainline ads starting with the Spring 2024 collection. However, for the Fall 2024 eyewear campaign, De Sarno decided to switch things up, bringing in Mario Sorrenti instead. Models like Abbey Lee, Liya Kebede, He Cong, and George Barnett posed for the Italian-American photographer in a sleek, minimalist studio, resulting in a series of clean and understated campaign images.
